The Negev Israel's Economic Frontier

The Negev will be Israel's main area of development in the coming decades. The Negev, covering 60% of Israel's territory, has many assets and growth levers, and is undergoing rapid growth which will turn it into a region with a developed economy that attracts residents and businesses. The transfer of IDF bases to the Negev will result in tens of billions of shekels in direct investment by the Ministry of Defense in the coming years in the coming years. The privatization of services by the Ministry of Defense will boost the Negev's economy by tens of billions of shekels a year, and increase its population .
