Singapore Israel R&D Fund approves five projects

In all, 68 engineers and researchers will work on the companies' projects.

The Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (SIIRD) will invest a total of $6.1 million in five project to be jointly carried by companies from the two countries. The partnerships are:

  1. Celeno Communications Ltd. from Israel, and Aztech Systems Ltd. from Singapore, which are collaborating on the development of multimedia systems for wireless networks.
  2. Xorcom Ltd. from Israel and Voiceroute Ltd. from Singapore, which are jointly developing a solution for open-source code IP-based switchboards.
  3. Micronet Ltd. from Israel and InfoWave Ltd. from Singapore, which are jointly developing a solution for vehicle fleet management and control.
  4. Outform from Israel, and View Media Holdings Pte from Singapore, which are jointly developing a technology to analyze customer behavior in retail environments, and tailor real time interactive advertising in response to their preferences.
  5. Green Vision Systems Ltd. from Israel, and SIF Technologies Pte Ltd. from Singapore, which are jointly developing testing equipment for sampling and monitoring pollution in humid climate conditions such as those in Singapore.

In all, 68 engineers and researchers will work on the companies' projects.
