Nigeria-based Netcom Africa will deploy the SkyEdge broadband satellite network for the corporate, energy and financial sectors.
Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT; TASE: GILT) will supply a SkyEdge II network to Nigeria-based Netcom Africa Ltd. for the corporate, energy and financial sectors in West Africa. Gilat did not disclose the size of the deal.
Gilat VP Africa Nir Korman said that the SkyEdge II broadband satellite network fully met the strict requirements of the corporate and banking sectors.
