MobileMax hopes the order will be the basis for more.
MobileMax Technologies Ltd. (TASE:MBMX) has won its first order from India's Tata Communications Ltd. (NYSE: TCL; BSE: 500483), worth NIS 249,000. Half the amount will be paid upon placement of the order and the rest upon delivery.
Tata Communications will use MobileMax solutions to launch low-cost international dialing services from cellular telephones for private and business customers. MobileMax said that the order is important, given Tata's global presence and large share in the international communications market. It added that the order might be the basis for the launch of additional services by Tata based on the company's products and technology.
MobileMax's share jumped 23% on the TASE to NIS 0.22 following the announcement.
