The company will install electro-mechanical systems in the Nigerian National Assembly's Senate and House of Representatives Building

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Electra Ltd. (TASE: ELTR) subsidiary Etco Nigeria Ltd. has signed a NIS 90 million (€16 million) contract to install electro-mechanical systems in the Nigerian National Assembly's Senate and House of Representatives Building in the capital, Abuja.

This is the second of a three-stage project on the 50,000-square meter National Assembly. Etco also carried out the first stage of the electrical work for the project, which was completed on schedule at the end of 2007. The second stage is scheduled for completion in April 2011.

Etco is Electra's contracting arm in Africa. It has carried out a number of major projects, including on the Central Bank of Nigeria building in Lagos.
