Toyota considering Israeli high-tech investments

A delegation from the Japanese automaker will visit Israel in two weeks to meet start-ups.

A senior delegation from the Japanese automaker Toyota is visiting Israel in July to meet Israeli companies. The delegation from Toyota Info Technology Center Co. is particularly interested in investing in Israeli technology companies involved in software for improving fuel consumption and systems for reducing driving risks. The meetings will take place during the week starting July 16.

Among the companies that the Toyota representatives will meet are: GreenRoad Technologies, which develops technologies for managing driver safety and risks; Road Guard, which develops software for increasing efficiency of fuel consumption; Netzer Precision Motor Sensors, which develops sensors with a higher performance at lower cost; Nanomotion Ltd., which designs and manufactures advanced and smaller sub systems; Nexense Ltd., which develops sensors that can identify if a driver is in physical distress; C-B4, which has developed software to warn of failures in the vehicle's systems; Kilolambda Technologies Ltd., which has developed optical power control solutions; Ex-Sight, which has developed biometric facial identification systems; and Camero-Tech, which has developed systems to observe stationary and moving objects through thick walls.
