Willook brings Facebook life after death

"If I Die" allows Facebook users to prepare a video clip or text message in advance, which will be published on their Facebook profile after their death.

Are you afraid that you won't be able to say goodbye to family and friends before going to the next world? Never fear, Israeli start-up Willook is offering a Facebook application that enables you to send a last message that will be published on Facebook after one's demise.

The application, "If I Die", allows Facebook users to prepare a video clip or text message in advance, which will be published on their Facebook profile after their death. The message can be a will, story, accumulated experience, a secret never shared, a message to the nation, or video clip for the next generation.

Willook says that use of the application is in three simple steps: first download the application; the user will be asked to record a message via the network camera on the computer, or to record a text message that he or she wishes to share after their death; and the user names three trustees from among their Facebook friends or family who are authorized to report the user's death.

The trustees will be notified of their important task and will be responsible for reporting the user's death via the application interface. Only after all three trustees report the death of the user, will the user's recorded message be published on his or her Facebook page.
