Wireless heart failure device co Leviticus Cardio raises NIS 4m

Leviticus Cardio has completed a financing round this week of NIS 4 million. The round was led by a group of American investors some of them specialists in the left venticular assistance device (LVAD) field and who are a strategic asset for the company. The Trendlines International Ltd. portfolio company is developing a wireless device that operates auxiliary [left ventricular assist] devices for patients with heart failure.

Leviticus Cardio founder and CEO Michael Zilbershlag said, "Wireless transfer of energy to a person's body efficiently using CET technology is a game changer in the LVAD market that will allow real quality of life for those undergoing transplants. LVAD devices already allow saving the lives of many patients but quality of life is a precondition for the extensive use of the solution. "
