The event was initiated due to the real needs of high-tech companies to better understand and navigate the synergies that are arising from the convergence of emerging technologies such as Big Data, AI, Machine Vision and IoT. In and of itself, each of these technologies are extremely promising, but as they converge, the opportunities appear almost endless. This enables companies participating in this new wave to develop new classes of products, explore new sources of funding, and get in early with patents to strategically dominate large portions of new markets.

The Sustainable Healthcare Challenge

Like many countries around the world, Israel’s healthcare system is facing significant challenges. The "Short Blanket", the growing gap between the needs of the health sector and the resources devoted to answering them. This gap endangers the sustainability of the health sector in Israel for the coming years. With ever-growing rates of chronic disease, it is urgent for the system to find innovative ways to save resources and improve patient outcomes.

Reboot Forum is a public benefit initiative established in 2014, aimed at promoting health to the very top of the national priorities and ensuring the sustainability of the healthcare system in Israel. The forum is a wide community of over 700 members (Policy Makers, HCP’s, Academia, Industry and other KOL’s and experts) that cooperate, on a voluntary basis, to bring about change and improvement through innovation and collaboration. We peruse principles of practical innovation, transforming the academic discourse into actions.
