Solaria to build solar facility on Blue Square roof

The 1.1-MW facility will be on Blue Square's new logistics center in Beer Tuvia.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Solaria Ltd., a unit of Shari Arison-controlled Shikun u'Binui Holdings Ltd. (TASE: SKBN) will build a 1.1-megawatt solar energy facility on the roof of the logistics center under construction in Beer Tuvia by Alon Holdings Blue Square - Israel Ltd. (NYSE: BSI; TASE: BSI). The system will cost NIS 16 million to build, and Solaria will rent the space from Blue Square subsidiary Blue Square Real Estate Ltd. (TASE: BLSR), which handles the supermarket chain's properties, for 20 years at NIS 440,000 a year.
