Richard Hunter has been appointed CEO of McCann Erickson Israel, succeeding Iris Beck, who has announced her wish to leave the company after four years. He will take up his post at the advertising agency in July.
"Globes" previously mentioned that Hunter was a candidate for the job, after Beck announced her intention to leave.
London-born Hunter previously served as CEO of retail supermarket chain Shufersal Ltd. (TASE:SAE) and prior to that as CEO of communications provider NetVision, both subsidiaries of Nochi Dankner-controlled IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH).
