Brokerim: We provide transparency, simplicity, and reliability, and save the customers money.

Brokerim, a new Israeli startup launched yesterday, aims to revolutionize real estate brokering. The company has developed a platform that enables property owners to conduct a tender among various brokers, while at the same time hearing public opinion about the broker with whom they wish to cooperate. At this stage, the platform is available on the company website and on devices using the Android operating system. The company also plans to launch a version for Apple Computers devices in the coming weeks.

Founded in 2016, Brokerim has raised hundreds of thousands of shekels from a private investor who does not want to be disclosed. Brokerim founder and CEO Shlomi Zevin said today, "Brokerages have had a questionable reputation, among other things because of wheeler-dealers working without a license and abuse by major brokerages, which deprive their employees of a significant share of their commissions without providing any significant added value. We are bringing the brokerage market into the 21st century by providing for all the needs of all parties in the deal: transparency, simplicity, and reliability, together with a significant saving for both the customer and the broker."

The company believes that the brokerage agencies are appropriating an average of more than half of the broker's commission. Brokerim's business model is based on an annual payment of NIS 3,000 from each broker, while the property owners will not have to pay for the service.
