A strike by German government workers planned for Wednesday at airports in Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Cologne, and Dortmund is causing the cancelation or delay of flights to and from Germany.
Israeli passengers will also be affected by the strike, which will disrupt hundreds of flights. At this stage, four Tel Aviv-Munich and Munich-Tel Aviv Lufthansa flights have been canceled.
Passengers with tickets for flights scheduled for tomorrow that were canceled due to the strike can reschedule their flights without additional payment. Lufthansa group passengers with tickets for flights tomorrow by way of Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund, or Hanover can reschedule their flights at no cost.
El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. (TASE: ELAL) said there were no changes in its flights to and from Germany.
