Altice N.V., the controlling shareholder in Hot Telecommunication Systems Ltd. (TASE: HOT.B1), has announced that it will use Real Madrid soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo as the star to present all the group's brands, including Hot, in all the countries in which it operates.

The selection of the Portuguese player reflects the pace of Altice's growth in infrastructure and internationally in its core business of broadband, deployment of fiber optic networks, 4G networks, content, and media.

Altice CEO Michel Combes said, "The partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo is another of Altice's tactics. The group is investing all its resources in the success of its projects, and this is reflected in the group's link with one of the world's leading sportsmen. Our goal in each market is to offer the best service to our customers, the best quality, the best networks, the best content - and now together with the best soccer player."

Hot Telecommunications CEO Tal Granot-Goldstein said, "We just got back from filming the campaign featuring superstar Ronaldo, which is expected to go on the air in Israel soon. Ronaldo fits in with Hot's advertising language, which puts the stars of its original programs up front. We're glad to cooperate with a leading international player who symbolizes excellence and leadership, which correspond to the company's values."

The advertising campaign is expected to go on the air soon in all the areas in which Altice operates - Israel, Portugal, and France - and will also be broadcast in Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Dominican Republic, and the US.
