Royal Jordanian to launch Tel Aviv-China flights

There will be three weekly flights from Israel to Guangzhou via Amman and Bangkok.

Royal Jordanian Airlines announced today that it is launching flights between Tel Aviv and the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, a route that is likely to be popular mainly with businesspeople. Passengers will fly from Ben Gurion Airport to Amman and from there to Guangzhou with a stopover in Bangkok. The flight will take 14 hours.

there will be three weekly flights on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on March 20. Flights will be on the Boeing 787B Dreamliner with tourist and business class. Return fares will be $837 in tourist class and $2,750 in business class.

Last month, China's Hainan Airlines announced it is launching Tel Aviv-Beijing flights in April. A return ticket for a direct flight will cost $850.
