Online financial software co Tradonomy raises $2m

Private investors participated in the round, which was not open to venture capital funds.

Online financial software start-up Tradonomy Ltd. has raised $2 million in its first financing round from private venture capitalists. The round was not open to venture capital funds. David Ring, Ronen Assia, and Yoni Assia founded the company in 2006.

IVC Online says that investors in the company include Genesis Partners founder and managing partner Eddy Shalev and Pitango Venture Capital founder managing general partner Nechemia (Chemi) Peres. Other investors are BRM Capital managing director Eli Barkat, investment bank De-Kalo Ben-Yehuda & Co. Ltd. managing director Benny De-Kalo, IncrediMail Ltd. (Nasdaq:MAIL) founder and CPO Ofer Adler, and Chromatis founder Rafi Gidron.

De-Kalo said, “The company will use proceeds from the financing round to complete development of its product and launch it.”
