Stavit Navon appointed SAP Israel managing director

She succeeds Miki Migdal, who last week announced that he will become co-managing director of SAP unit Accenture in the EMEA.

SAP Israel Ltd. has appointed COO Stavit Navon as managing director. SAP Israel distributes and sells SAP AG (NYSE; DAX: SAP) products in the country. She succeeds Miki Migdal, who last week announced that he will become co-managing director of SAP unit Accenture in the EMEA.

SAP Israel was founded in 2008 when SAP acquired the Israeli distribution business of Ness Technologies Ltd. Migdal was appointed managing director a year later, succeeded Gilad Gans.

Navon (41) began working at SAP in 2002, and has held a number of executive positions at the company.

SAP Israel has almost 100 employees, out of SAP's 800 employees in Israel. Most of the company's Israeli workforce is employed at its R&D center, run by Michael Steiner. SAP Israel has tens of millions of dollars in sales.
