ProSeed to invest $2m in skincare co PerfAction

PerfAction has developed a new method for controlling the rate and quantity of anti-wrinkle treatments injected into the upper epidermis.

ProSeed Venture Capital Fund (TASE:PRSD) will invest $2 million in a financing round by PerfAction Technologies Ltd. The round will total $2-3 million altogether.

PerfAction has developed a new method for controlling the rate and quantity of anti-wrinkle treatments injected into the upper epidermis. The company says that its method instigates skin cell renewal, resulting in a younger look, and added that it already has sales. The company was founded by former Lumenis CEO Yacha Sutton, Radiancy co-founders Zion Ezer and Pinchas Shalev, and Eyal Bar-Or.

ProSeed CEO Niv Sarne said that the main reason the fund decided to invest in PerfAction was its experience entrepreneurial team. He added that ProSeed planned to play a more active role and lead financing rounds in companies.
