Gad Komet has left the firm after six months, twice the time of his predecessor.
The position of CEO at Chip PC Technologies Ltd. (TASE:CPPC) is apparently too hot to occupy for long. CEO Gad Komet is leaving less than six months after his appointment. He is the company's second CEO in under a year. His predecessor, Ilan Israeli - who resigned or was forced out depending on whom is asked - left in April 2007, after just three months in the job.
Chip PC went public in August 2007 and is currently traded at a market cap of NIS 90 million. Founder and chairwoman Ora Sofer is now serving as acting CEO. She says that the company is negotiating with a top executive in the industry. The company produces thin client computers and management software.
