The Kiryat Shmona electronics firm's 80 employees will keep their jobs.
ECI Telecom has sold its holdings in electronic and electro-mechanic component producer Electa Galil Ltd. to plastic products company Zriha Hlavin Industries Ltd. for NIS 8 million. Electa Galil's 80 staff will keep their jobs under the same terms of employment as before. The acquisition is expected to increase production volumes at the Kiryat Shmona-based company and expand its existing customer base, while reducing its dependence on defense industries.
