Micromedic Technologies Ltd. today announced that its subsidiary Biomed Technologies Ltd. has signed an amendment to its licensing and research agreements with the University of Florida, which were originally signed in September 2006, and renewed in October 2007. The current amendment extended them for an additional 12 months from today.
The amendment commits the University of Florida to significantly increase the number of tests that it will conduct as part of the research agreement. In addition, the subsidiary committed to transfer additional funding of about $25,000, above and beyond the funds pledged in the 2006 and 2007 agreements.
