Iris Stark pulls out of CPA presidential election

Stark cited a personal power struggle as the reason for removing her candidacy.

Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel VP Iris Stark today announced that she was withdrawing her candidacy for the upcoming election for president. Stark explained that her decision stemmed from "an election campaign involving a personal power struggle that was harming the Institute."

Stark said that the power struggle was harming those who stood at the head of the Institute and did not serve the interests of accountants. Stark's resignation left two candidates in the field - Doron Kaufman and Kobi Navon.
