Ophir Optronics Ltd. (TASE:OPIR) subsidiary Ophir Optics Inc. has won a $7 million follow-on order by a leading US defense manufacturer. Ophir develops and manufactures precision infrared optics components and laser measurement equipment.
The order is for optics components, which will be integrated into the US manufacturer's thermal infrared night vision systems.
Ophir Optics will supply the half of the components before the end of 2009 with the remainder of the order to be supplied by July 2010.
