Chip co Dune Networks raises $8.3m

Dune Networks has raised $53 million to date, including the present funding.

Dune Networks Inc. has raised an additional $8.3 million from Evergreen Venture Partners, expanding its second financing round. Pitango Venture Capital, Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), Aurum-SBC Ventures, Alta Berkeley Venture, and US Venture Partners already invested in the round.

Dune Networks has raised $53 million to date, including the present funding. The company will use the proceeds to expand sales, support of its growing list of customers, and accelerate product development.

Founded in 2001, Dune Networks is a semiconductor company that develops chipsets for Metro Ethernet, enterprise and data center platforms.
