Divorce will leave Glazer with own businesses only

Ofer Glazer's assets are reportedly worth about $55 million, most of which were accumulated during his five-year marriage to Shari Arison.

Shari Arison's announcement yesterday that she is separating from her husband, Ofer Glazer, included no details about the financial settlement between them. People close to the ex-couple believe that the property settlement will not be complicated.

One person said, "There's nothing to settle. Everything is known and clear. They only have to go and get divorced."

Arison and Glazer's agreement reportedly states that each of them will leave the marriage with what is registered under their own names. Glazer will leave with his businesses, and them only. His assets are reportedly worth about $55 million, most of which were accumulated during his five-year marriage to Arison. Sources say that he has no demands of Arison beyond their agreement.

Sources close to Arison and Glazer admitted that there was no doubt that he boosted his businesses thanks to his marriage to her. This was partly because Arison attracted potential investors and partners and also because the association helped him with bank financing. One person said, "There is no doubt that he leaves this marriage in a much better state."

Arison's divorce attorney is Ad. Rami Hadar, known as the tycoons' lawyer. His clients have included Idan Ofer, former minister Yuli Tamir in her divorce, Adv. David Libai in his divorce, and Arison in her divorce from her previous husband, Miki Dorsman.
