Information sorting co my6sense raises $2m

The firm's software is available for iPhone and Firefox.

my6sense Ltd. has raised $2 million in its first financing round from private investors. The company has developed information sorting technology by personal preference.

my6sense was founded by Barak Hachamov and Avinoam Rubinstein, a veteran entrepreneurial duo. Both men helped found Atrica, and Hachamov was also involved with Veraz Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:VRAZ)

my6sense's solution is defined as "digital intuition". It is designed to analyze any information service the user has registered with, and send the relevant information to the user's iPhone. The application is also available on Firefox.

my6sense raised $1 million in seed money from private investors a year ago. Its investors include Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:MLNX; TASE:MLNX) founder, chairman, and CEO Eyal Waldman, and and 3Com Corporation (Nasdaq: COMS) chairman Eric Benhamou.
