D&B Israel: Zim most asked about by foreign firms

The number of D&B reports about Israeli companies requested from abroad has fallen 10%.

Dun & Bradstreet Israel (D&B) reports that Zim Israel Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. is the Israeli company most asked about by foreign firms. D&B based its ranking on the amount of enquiries it receives for information on Israeli firms.

D&B Israel reported that between September 2008 and May 2009 the second most asked about Israeli company was Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd., while Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq:TEVA; TASE:TEVA) was only in third place.

Among the others most asked about from abroad were: Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) (TASE: ELEC.B22) and Oil Refineries Ltd. (TASE:ORL) and p, while Scope Metal Trading and Technical Services Ltd. (TASE: SCOP) is the most asked about smaller sized company.

D&B Israel's information also shows that since the start of the global economic crisis the number of reports about Israeli companies requested from abroad has fallen by 10%.

D&B Israel found that between September 2008 and May 2009 the US was by far the biggest customer for its reports about Israeli companies. 32.1% of its reports were sent to the US, followed by the UK (12.8%), Germany (11.3%), Belgium (4.7%) and France (4.6%).
