Cellphone support co CommuniTake raises $1m

The company has developed a platform that streamlines customer support for wireless operators.

CommuniTake Technologies Ltd. has raised $1 million from the private equity fund founded earlier this year by Shmuel Mendezitsky. This is the first financing round by the company, which was founded in 2008, and hitherto operated with its own financing.

CommuniTake CEO Ronen Sasson, VP R&D Eran Karpen, and CTO Ami Perlmutter founded the company together with Omri Lavie and Shalev Holy. The company has developed a platform that streamlines customer support for wireless carriers, by facilitating the remote control of advanced cellular telephones while preserving subscribers' confidentiality.
