Sialo Technology Israel Ltd. (TASE: SALO) has filed for a Continuation-In-Part (CIP) patent application with the US Patent Office for the company's dental application for endoscope treatment for implants and gum diseases.
The CIP application is entitled, "Device, System and Method for procedures associated with the intra-oral cavity."
Sialo stated that if the patent is approved, it will protect the company's endoscope treatment for implants and gum diseases in the US for up to 20 years.
Sialo develops solutions and services for salivary gland diseases with a full product line of disposable items used with the advanced endoscopic technique, as well as drains, balloons, and baskets.
Sialo's share rose 0.3% in morning trading to NIS 2.98.
