Thu: Tel Aviv 25 up 0.5% for week

Teva and Mylan led the gains while Bezeq recorded the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange was flat today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.04% to 1,467.68 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.06% to 1,278.33 points; and the BlueTech Index fell 0.06% to 337.10 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.08% to 323.16 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.14 billion. The Tel Aviv 25 Index was up 0.5% for the week and has fallen 4% since the start of the year, after rising 4% in 2015.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.026% from yesterday's rate at NIS 3.858/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.024% at NIS 4.249/€.

On the market, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 1.09% on the day's largest trading turnover and Mylan N.V. (Nasdaq: MYL; TASE: MYL) rose 1.46% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index today. Isramco Ltd. (Nasdaq: ISRL; TASE: ISRA.L) rose 0.74%.

First International Bank of Israel (TASE: FTIN) rose 0.95% and Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) rose 0.29% but Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) fell 0.85%.

Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell 1.09% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index today. Israel Chemicals (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) fell 0.62% and parent company Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) fell 0.74%.
