The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.18% to 1,453.98 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.22% to 1,272.65 points; but the BlueTech Index rose 0.33% to 358.40 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.16% to 320.43 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.18 billion.
On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.505% from yesterday's rate at NIS 3.746/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.595% at NIS 4.208/€.
On the market, Israel Discount Bank (TASE: DSCT) rose 1.17% following yesterday's losses and a successful offering. Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd. (TASE: CLIS) rose 2.2% on talk of Chinese interest in buying it and Perion Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:PERI: TASE:PERI) rose 0.8% after its CEO stepped down. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 0.53%.
Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) fell 1.83% and the Leviathan partners, which rose so strongly yesterday after signing a $10 billion Jordanian deal, fell on profit taking today. Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) gas exploration and production units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) fell 1.15% and 0.44% respectively, and Ratio Oil Exploration (1992) LP (TASE:RATI.L) fell 0.32%. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 1.72%.
