Sun: Teva pushes TASE down

Big Pharma companies Teva and Mylan led the losses on the TASE today while Frutarom led the gains.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.37% to 1,432.95 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.44%, to 1,253.39 points; and the BlueTech Index fell 0.65% to 358.02 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.20% 321.44 points. Trading turnover was NIS 451.6 million.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.157% on Friday at NIS 3.827/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set up 0.164% at NIS 4.082/€.

On the market, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 2.71% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index on the day's biggest trading turnover. Mylan N.V.'s (Nasdaq: MYL; TASE: MYL) fell 2.20%.

Frutarom Industries Ltd. (TASE: FRUT; LSE:FRUT; OTCBB:FRUTF) rose 2.55% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index today. Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) rose 1.79%.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 1.35% and its energy production and explorations units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) rose 0.72% and fell 0.49% respectively.
