Fast food chain McDonald’s is set to open its first branch in Israel’s Arab sector, the 37th branch in Israel. The new branch will include a McDrive drive-in/take-out food service.
The Tamra McDonalds, located on the Carmiel highway near a new Delek gas station, will serve the residents of Tamra and travelers to Carmiel and surrounding areas. The branch will open February 15, after the Ramadan fast.
Five new McDonald’s opened during the November-December period, and two are scheduled to open next week.
McDonald’s management said additional Arab sector branches would be opened according to demand.
