Bank Leumi has filed an urgent petition to the Tel Aviv District Court to be allowed to appoint directors in real estate company Jerusalem Economy Ltd. (TASE:ECJM) (JEC) to replace the controlling shareholder in the company, Eliezer Fishman, and his associates. The company's private placement yesterday raised NIS 200 million. The investors, investment institutions and other investors, received a 15.7% discount on the market price (36 million shares were issued at NIS 5.55 a share, amounting to 31% of the company's share capital after the offering). The participants in the private placement also received six-month options to purchase additional shares for NIS 50 million.
