Mon: TASE slump continues

Teva, Opko and Perrigo fell sharply today but Bezeq bucked the market. 

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 1.19%, to 1,420.83 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 1.34%, to 1,215.57 points; and the BlueTech Index fell 1.98% to 284.72 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.41%, to 307.20 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.39 billion.

On the foreign currency market the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate up 0.180% from Friday's rate at NIS 3.890/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.423% at NIS 4.31/€

On the market, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) fell 5.43% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) fell 2.09%, Mylan N.V. (Nasdaq: MYL; TASE: MYL) fell 1.50%, and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 2.28% on the day's biggest trading turnover. and Perrigo Company (NYSE:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) fell 2.77%.

Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) fell 2.13% and Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) fell 1.95%.

Only four shares on the Tel Aviv 25 Index rose today. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 3.78% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA; TASE: ORMT) rose 1.33%, Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 0.37%, and Osem Investments Ltd. (controlled by Nestle SA (SWX:NESN)) (TASE: OSEM) rose 0.05%.
