Sun: TASE rally resumes led by Delek

Delek and its energy units rose strongly, while Teva finally began to gain strongly.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.65% to 1,431.77 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.63%, to 1,303.50 points; the BlueTech Global Index rose 0.94% to 378.62 points and the TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.01% to 331.65 points. Trading turnover was NIS 777.5 million.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate unchanged on Friday at NIS 3.61/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.092% at NIS 3.922/€.

On the market, Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 4.59% and its energy and exploration units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) rose 6.14% and 6.87% respectively, the latter was the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 3.53% on the day's biggest trading turnover. Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) rose 2.39%. Israel Chemicals (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) rose 1.52% and parent company Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) rose 2.20%.

Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) fell 3.53% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 index today. Azrieli Group Ltd. (TASE: AZRG) fell 0.82% and Frutarom Industries Ltd. (TASE: FRUT; LSE:FRUT; OTCBB:FRUTF) fell 0.75%.
