The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.59% to 1,526.59 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.36% to 1,355.35 points, but the BlueTech 50 Index rose 0.07% to 375.02 points. Turnover was NIS 1.49 billion.
In the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.987/$, up 0.025% on yesterday's rate, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.452/€, down 0.581%.
In the bond market, the corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index fell 0.16%.
In the stock market, Kenon Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: KEN; TASE: KEN) rose 5.64% for the largest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 1.14%, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) rose 1.45%, and Israel Discount Bank (TASE: DSCT) rose 1.67%.
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 1.23% on the day's largest trading turnover and Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA; TASE: ORMT) fell 3.12% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) fell 2.31%.
Outside the Tel Aviv 25 Index, Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: TSEM; TASE: TSEM) rose 6.42% after announcing a major deal with Intel.
