Tue: TASE stays firm

Teva kept up its momentum today, as did Israel Chemicals and Bank Hapoalim.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.56%, to 1,443.19 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.53%, to 1,287.04 points; and the BlueTech Index rose 0.89%, to 302.7 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.21%, to 325.25 points. Turnover totaled NIS 1.25 billion.

On the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel-dollar rate fell 0.4%, to NIS 3.7310/$, and the shekel-euro rate fell 0.55%, to NIS 4.7577/€.

Teva was today's most heavily traded stock, rising 0.05%. Bank Hapoalim rose 0.10%; Israel Chemicals maintained its strength following the release of the Sheshinski report, rising 0.38%; and Bezeq rose 1.65%. Alony Hetz was the only stock in the top five to fall, by 0.20%

Perion Networks was a notable advancer, closing up 5.32%, while Protalix lost ground, falling 1.97%.
