Voltaire winner of Deloitte Brightman Almagor Fast 50

The company's sales have grown over 50,000% in five years.

Grid backbone solutions company Voltaire Ltd. (Nasdaq:VOLT)is the winner of the 2007 "Fast 50" company rankings held by accounting and consultancy firm Deloitte Brightman Almagor. Voltaire is the fastest growing Israeli technology company in the last five years, with a growth rate of 50,612% from 2002 through 2006 in which it posted sales of $30 million. Voltaire's stock has fallen sharply since its IPO on Nasdaq in July, which in turn was held at lower value than the investors and company had been hoping for.

In second place came cellular content services developer Celltick Technologies Ltd. which grew by 29,627% in five years. Runcom Technologies Ltd., which develops chips for WiMAX communications over cellular networks, held on to third position for the second consecutive year, followed in fourth place by Red Bend Software Ltd., which develops solutions for mobile phone and network operators to speed up the adoption of new services and features. In fifth place came last year's fast 50 winner Wintegra Inc., followed by Mobixell Networks Ltd., BioView Ltd., Modelity Technologies Ltd., Alma Lasers Ltd., and Actimize (recently acquired by NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE).
