A relatively short lease was signed, as the venture expects to expand.
Shai Agassi's electric car venture Project Better Place has rented a 400-square meter office in a five-storey building in Kiryat Atidim in Ramat Hayal in Tel Aviv. The company's development team, lead by former IDF major general Moshe Kaplinsky will take up residence. The rent is $23 per square meter per month.
The office is luxuriously designed, as suits a high-tech venture, and is partly furnished, which is reflected in the rent. The lease is for one year with a one-year option to extend. Sources inform ''Globes'' that that the reason for the relatively short lease is that Project Better Place plans to expand and the current premises may not suffice in the future.
The company confirmed the report.
