The Canadian lingerie chain has opened a store in Jerusalem, and will shortly open two more in Tel Aviv and Beersheva.
Canadian lingerie chain La Senza Corporation (TSX:LSZ) is launching activity in Israel. La Senza has opened its first store at Jerusalem’s Malha Mall, through an Israeli franchisee. “Globes” has obtained figures indicating that the store’s turnover was NIS 300,000 in its first month of business.
La Senza will open two more stores in Israel in the coming months: one in the Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv, and the other in the Negev Mall in Beersheva. La Senza said it would have 11 stores in Israel by the end of 2007.
La Senza is Canada’s leading lingerie chain, with 300 stores in Canada and another 250 in 28 countries worldwide, including Australia, the UK, and China. The company’s sales are estimated at $800 million a year.
