A lawsuit has been filed over Procter & Gamble's Olay skin-care line.
Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) announced yesterday that it was suing pharmaceuticals company Perrigo Co. (Agis Industries) (Nasdaq:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) for allegedly mimicking its Olay line of skin-care products.
Procter & Gamble says the products concerned are protected by four patents. It has filed suit in the US Federal Court for the district of Ohio and petitioned for an injunction to prevent Perrigo from selling its competing products.
Perrigo has made no comment on the case.
