The three were vaccinated at the same Leumit Health Fund clinic in Kiryat Gat during the past eight days.
The Ministry of Health has ordered a halt to flu vaccinations, after the Leumit Health Fund announced this afternoon that three of its members had died, a few days after being vaccinated.
The ministry has opened a full investigation into the deaths.
According to the ministry, the three people who died were aged 75, 70 and 52, and they were vaccinated at the same Leumit Health Fund clinic in Kiryat Gat during the past eight days. The three had also received the vaccination for the last three years, with no ill effects. The ministry also said that the three suffered from other illnesses.
The ministry said it would issue further instructions after the results of the investigation are received.
