Co-owner: Receivership will close “Israeli” paper

Shlomo Ben-Zvi: Adelson’s desire to hurt and pressure me has addled his mind".

Free daily newspaper “Israeli” co-owner Shlomo Ben-Zvi says that if the demand of his partner US-Jewish billionaire Sheldon Adelson to appoint a temporary receiver for the newspaper is met, it would almost certainly lead to the paper’s immediate collapse. “Adelson’s desire to hurt and pressure me has addled his mind, and caused him to take absurd measures,” said Ben-Zvi.

Ben-Zvi wants the court’s to dismiss Adelson request for a temporary receiver for the newspaper, called for a delay in proceedings in the case, and for it to be sent to arbitration.
