Elbit Systems is now offering NIS 210 per share, 7% above market.
Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) has increased its offer for Tadiran Communications Ltd. (TASE: TDCM) to NIS 210 per share from NIS 186. The new offer is 6.9% above Tadiran Communications’ current market price of NIS 196.50.
Elbit Systems also extended the tender offer period to April 26, 2007.
When Elbit Systems first published its offer to purchase on March 20, it said that the public owned 55.37% of Tadiran Communications (54.15% fully diluted), and had 57.2% of voting rights.
