Former US Vice President Al Gore will visit Israel in November. Sources inform ''Globes'' that Gore, who has committed himself to promoting awareness of global warming and ecological issues, will be in Israel to promote his new book "The Inconvenient Truth." The book, which formed the basis of Gore documentary by the same name, will be published in Israel by Ziblin Youth Communications.

The publication will be accompanied by a full campaign of activities to raise public awareness of the issues in question. Among other things, a designated web site will feature all the material that has been collected on global warming. There are also plans to introduce the issue in the education system. "Globes" has learned that Gore plans to bring out a second book which will offer ecological solutions. This book will also be published in Israel.
