Gilon buys business intelligence firm

Gilon's customers include Bank Leumi, Bank Hapoalim, Cellcom and Partner.

Gilon Business Insight Ltd., a subsidiary of Dovrat Group unit D-Partners, has acquired Tachlit Database Marketing for an estimated $1 million. Tachlit, which was founded in 1992 and employs 10 people, provides consulting and management services for customer-focused marketing projects.

Gilon CEO Guy Greenberg said yesterday that Tachlit's field of expertise would complement its own business intelligence activity.

Gilon employs 220 people in Israel and Europe. It recently formed a consulting and a software products division, and also acquired IT company Executive Information Systems. Gilon's customers include Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI), Bank Hapoalim (LSE: BKHD; TASE: POLI), Isracard Ltd., a target=new href=http://www.cellcom.co.il/>Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL), and Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR; LSE:PCCD).
