Medical Compression sells DVT devices to US hospitals

Five hospitals of Scripps Mercy Medical Group in California have bought the company's device.

MCS Medical Compression Systems (DBN) Ltd. (TASE:MDCL) today signed two more contracts for the sale of its non-invasive limb compression system for the prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis to hospitals of Scripps Mercy Medical Group in California. The company will supply Scripps Mercy SD and Scripps Green hospitals 550 devices for $700,000 a year.

In the past months, MCS signed contracts for the sale of 480 devices altogether to three other Scripps hospitals: Scripps Mercy Chula Vista, Scripps Memorial, and Scripps Encinitas. These contracts are worth $600,000 altogether.

Scripps is replacing products made by Kendall Healthcare Products Company.
