Desktop and process optimization solutions provider Jacada (Nasdaq: JCDA; TASE: JCDA) has won a new German customer, cable network operator Kabel Deutschland GmbH. The company did not disclose the size of the deal.
Kabel Deutschland has nine million subscribers across Germany, providing Triple Play services, including digital cable, pay-per-view services, broadband Internet access and telephony via TV cable. The Jacada solution will improve the company's customer service center, by providing a unified service desktop solution.
Jacada CEO Paul O’Callaghan said, “Europe, and Germany specifically, represents an important growth market for Jacada and we are especially pleased to partner with Kabel Deutschland."
Jacada fell 1.3% yesterday to close at $3.75 on Nasdaq. The share was unchanged on the TASE by midday.
