The start-ups are in the cleantech and healthcare industries.
Capital Point Ltd. (TASE:CPTP) will provide NIS 12.5 million to finance five new cleantech and healthcare ventures at its incubator companies Meytag Technology Incubator and Ofakim Hi-Tech Ventures. Capital Point shareholder Corporate Finance Holding GmbH will participate in the funding.
Capital Point CEO David Dolev Lipitz said, "Capital Point considers the current period as a time of opportunities. The quality of ventures has improved over the past year."
Two companies are at Ofakim in the Negev:
- MedaSense Biometrics Ltd. will develop a device for the continuous locating of pain.
- Nehora Photonics Ltd. will develop electro-orthopedic device for monitoring hematocrit in the blood.
Three companies are at Meytag at Katzrin on the Golan Heights:
- Easy Sut Ltd. will develop an innovative device for surgical sutures in passive tissue.
- Inmotion Medical Ltd. will develop a disposable colonoscope with mobile capacity, for use in the large intestine, intended for the early diagnosis of colon cancer.
- Aquaspark Ltd. will develop a method for purifying industrial waste of organic contaminants.
